I don’t mind alternative forms of education as long as it is done right, but a body fat measuring machine outside or the cafeteria and a super competitive and toxic environment 24/7? This ain’t the way, people.

Every time I hear about this, I think about how Johnny was allowed to finish his high school education before becoming a full time trainee and how WILD that is. That should be the standard tbh.

Someone once said that a company wants you as uneducated as possible so there's no way for you to legally know how to fight back, and that's all I can think about.

I have so many thoughts about this I don’t know where to begin. The monthly fees are the equivalent of a mortgage?? And they’re not even official trainees. Imagine your family paying that kind of money and then you end up never passing auditions anyways. On one hand for that kind of money I would hope they would be given preference in SM auditions. But the last thing k-pop needs to is a bunch of a high school dropouts from rich families, making it more difficult for people from middle class families to become idols and the idol world just becoming more and more of a playground for the already rich. Idk.
