I feel like people are focussing more on the songs than whether it's by a big name group.

Yeah, both of the groups mentioned here had one song so far that majorly blew up and that’s it. Def feels like they’re jumping the gun on this statement.

oo well i def didn't know about cupid song, their vocals are so refreshing, well two of theirs at the least lol i need to do better to listen to underdog girl groups ive been slacking

I am curious how well FIFTY FIFTY will do tbh. Cupid sounds like a Doja Cat song to me, and Tiktok loves Doja Cat, therefore it makes sense to me why Cupid is blowing up on Tiktok. Really interested to see if they can hold on to this success.

I almost wish they wouldn't "blow up". Other groups like Momoland, EXID, and Brave Girls blew up and their trajectory was kinda tragic afterwards with version 2.0 and 3.0 of their hit songs and then....fizzle

(sorry to EXID but they did a lot of 2.0 and 3.0 until finally doing new things later)

Yea, I feel like after Hani went viral they kind of got locked into a sound. Ah Yeah was just Up&DOWN 2.0, still love that song tho!
