YES! Please let me know if the ending makes the drama worth it. Everyone has been praising it so far but I've been burned too many times by great dramas with shit endings.

Also, spoilers don't bother me. I'll read whatever you put behind a spoiler. hahaha!

While the tone of my comments below may seem overly negative, I did enjoy the show! As Broadcities noted, the last 4 episodes were so disappointing compared to the quality of the first 12 episodes. It's not horrible; it's just didn't end great It may be that you watch until episode 10 and then read what happens afterward lol

I enjoyed it! It was a good one for me mostly because of Jung Kyoung Ho and the kids. Some shorts...
- I didn't care much about the love story between the main leads. The cute love story between the kids were more endearing
- This is a bit like Sky Castle. Again, brutal education for the kids.
- I like how they wrapped it up. Mommy lawyer is lucky to have two amazing kids. I hope she realizes that.
- Haeng Seon is lucky to have a good friend by her side.
- I specifically liked one of the minor characters, one of the moms (Lee Mi-Ok). She gets influenced easily but she also acknowledges and voices out if she sees something is wrong.

lee miok's character was very interesting! she was a bit flakey, i like that she wasn't as black-white

I'm with you on the main leads. I didn't feel a lot of chemistry although the leads acted well. I enjoyed that the couples were atypical for a Korean romance.

i really liked the drama overall but to be honest the final 4~ episodes were a little bit disappointing. i think for other dramas i would've thought the ending was fine and i'd be happy with this, but i guess for this show i'm a little bit more critical. i am happy with the happy ending for everyone that mattered but the storylines were solved in a rushed and messy way which frustrated me because the set-up was overall pretty good.

like assistant ji's suicide was just too easy. the drama with the biological mom too, it was not developed enough. They should've made this a more prominent point in the show and developed her character more beyond a mostly egoistical character, that would've suited the slice of life character of this show more too. the biological mom leaving unannounced also didn't clearly solve the tension between haengseon and hae-ee about haengseon 'giving up her dreams' (in hae-ee's perspective) to take care of her.

the show also didn't go far enough with the societal critique for me, i feel like a lot of blame was ( ... )

I was expecting Hae-ee's biological mom to arrive sooner. For me it was too late and unnecessary. They should have stayed the way it was.
I agree so much about the dads. But I don't know if we were supposed to sympathise with the dad. He just gave his excuses. Sua's mom has a lot of flaws but she cares about her daughter. Sua herself said they should get divorce.

The last 4 episodes were unbelievably disappointing. The writer only had 12 episodes of material. The storylines regarding Haeng Seon's sister and brother/best friend should have been axed. The friendship/bromance among the high schoolers should have been expanded. The student who was spiraling: her arc should have been fleshed out much more (it was spottily addressed in the last 6-8 episodes). Just too many missed opportunities for a such a quality drama thru 12 episodes.

I read somewhere the original name of the drama was Scandal. I don’t think it was initially thought of as a romantic drama. It makes me wonder if the last 4 episodes suffered because the writer was not fully committed to a genre or objective. This could explain the lack of social commentary and how it ended.

i think the haengseon sister storyline could've been good if they'd taken more time to develop both the character and the storyline, but agree for the rest!

I’ll admit I watched this show through tumblr gif sets lmao. It does look cute! I’m a bit weary bc I’ve seen so many people hype it up, comparing the comedy/writing to be similar to weightlifting fairly and because this is my first life but if y’all think it’s cute and has similar vibes I might watch it!

It did have some Weightlifting Fairy vibes. However, I felt this drama didn't know what it wanted to be in the end.

I really like it, but the murders, they build it but then they dropped, I think that's why the last episode was all pretty wrapped!.
