It's Girl Group Season: Melon Top 10 is completely taken over by kpop girl groups
Aside from the usual interruption overnight by Im Young Woong and OSTs, melon's top ten is entirely girl groups. Notably, three different generations are represented; 2nd gen SNSD, 3rd gen Blackpink, and 4th gen Itzy, IVE, Newjeans and WSG.
The top 20 also includes Le Sserafim, (g)i-dle, aespa, and Nayeon, as well as soloist KyoungSeo.

i know that the fourth gen is considered to have only started about three years ago but with such a huge shift in popular groups in the last 12 months it kind of feels like this is the beginning of another new era
