I think I prefer this round's outfits to the previous ones, more individuality. I do wish they would perform another song, would love to hear them sing with live vocals for at least one song after a long while
Sooyoung's hair flips is all I can see now after watching Knowing Brothers (it does bother me tho that she is the only one wearing long pants... did someone forget to check the group chat again 😅).
Someone explain to me why when other groups, especially the 4th gen ones go on stage and pose and do their little dance moves and lipsynch and it feels empty and somewhat soulless at times... but when snsd does it I have to hold back tears. They feel full of life and they all seem to have that stage charisma. Maybe because of their age and they are just confident women and they have been doing this for so long that they just know how to shine on stage. And just my attachment to the group.
I do wish we could get them singing this live once, but this is sm so I doubt it.
I feel one of the main reasons is that the girls are enjoying themselves on stage (aside from nostalgia). many 4th gen groups these days don't really look like they enjoy the stage, and probably don't have that energy given their diets and lack of rest. and in some cases, the groups are put in concepts that don't suit them at all (aespa is a very good example)
yes, that's probably true. I feel like a lot of 4th gen idols just haven't really found their stride or seem to just not enjoy themselves on stage that much. It feels like you are watching a very well dance team doing a dance and lipsynching to the song... but they aren't connecting too much with the audience and maybe it's because they all or most debuted during covid times so they are just not used to connecting with the audience which snsd totally is doing. Sones are screaming their heart out to their new songs after a long time.
One of the few exceptions are ITZY who just seem to have that stage charisma in their blood from the get-go... or at least some of the member do like Yeji and Ryujin.
