kpop continues to not blow me away ever since february i feel like. i was expecting a lot from woodz and even though i like the album, i do not like it as much as his previous work. i think i replay better and better, hope to be like you and hijack the most. same with astro - candy sugar pop is cute, but is lacking something to make it truly fun. something something is nice though. i've been listening more to indie artists: yerin baek, kim yeji, and say sue me's albums i quite enjoy.
oh and maybe another song that omona missed, which i think was released in may as well, is run away by lucy! i'm not as good at describing songs as op but it's a song that makes me excited to go on a trip and this band always mixes their guitar and violin so well!
So happy to see my boy Jeong Sewoon in the second chance section! 🥰 The title song is great, all of the b-sides are great, I love his new album so much! My favourite b-side at the moment is "Nerdy", but really they are all excellent imo. The performances were a joy to watch as well, with his adorable smiling dancers and the beautiful fan chants

Oneus Bring It On is the runner up for me. It is not as exciting as No diggity (lol that name) was for me but it does feel like it’s proper successor and I’ve been enjoying it quite a bit.
Alice’s Drive Away is so pretty, perfect for a relaxing summer night! Bebe Yana’s Space Mulan is fun, I wish this genre was pursued more in kpop whether mainstream or indie.
What grew on you? - Le Sserafim’s Blue Flame. I didn’t see the appeal initially but it’s nice, not exactly running to replay it but when I occasionally hear it, it’s not bad lol.
What fell out of favour quickly? - Le Sserafim’s Fearless. It’s a basic pop song that’s easy to consume so I see why it’s doing really well but I got bored quickly of it. I never really fell for it thought, I thought it would grow on me more but then it

Oh to add to May in sucking is one of the nugus I was rooting for disbanding 🫡 I’ll miss you Lunarsolar, they had something special which caught my eye over a lot of 4th gen nugus that don’t really make an impact for me. Now I’m rooting for Bling Bling not to disband, I replayed Oh Mama for like a half hour on accident and I’m not even mad about it, such a fun song. If I lost Lunarsolar don’t make me lose Bling Bling this year omg
i am fully obsessed with the seventeen album. i loop it pretty much daily. i'm gonna have all the songs memorized by the time i go to the concert next saturday. i'm so excited to see them live again and jam to all the new songs!!!
