10th ep was brilliant. they managed to get everything just right. victims should be the most important ones in criminal cases, not sensationalism and ~enigma~ of serial killers. i loved that they drove that point very pointedly in via ha young's mental state after interviewing the murderer for so long. the 'who we left behind' article was also a really nice touch because so often we forget about living family members who are supposed to move on with their lives and usually they get no support. i remember how in documentary they interviewed victim's family (brother, i think?) and i was absolutely crushed when he said that most of his family members commited suicide and he was going to do the same. i'm really glad that drama made sure to bring such aspects into the drama

exactly what i thought too! it's impressive too that they've been able to discuss so many impactful cases in only 12 episodes but it doesn't feel rushed at all
