2PM Changsung announces marriage, baby, & is leaving JYP

2PM’s Chansung has shared big news!

On December 15, Chansung took to his Instagram with a handwritten letter addressed to fans. In the letter, he announces plans for marriage, his fiancée pregnancy, and his decision to leave JYP Entertainment in January.

I am so happy for him, especially that he was able to share the news himself, on his own terms. I was literally asking for 2PM grandbabies after the Taeyang news but didn’t expect it so quickly and from the maknae, no less!

Slightly worried about what will happen when he leaves JYPE since it was already hard to see all six of them before the military and it got even harder with Taec being in another company. All that said, I’m sure they’ll do what’s best for them.

Congratulations to him! I...literally saw him for the first time on My Holo Love and then went back and watched some 2PM vids and then Vincenzo happened, but I am always happy when an idol can live the life they want with someone they love.

Taecyeon just confirmed dating i think? Don't think engagement or pregnancy was announced. I expect him to go the route of Changmin, announce marriage after a while, without a baby lol

He's always seemed like an overgrown child to me, visuals and humor, but I appreciate the way members talk about his stability and flexibility. I am amused he pointed out they've been together a long time, were serious, but it's still shotgun. I hope everyone is healthy and happy.

And that someday we'll get an announcement not worried about fan reaction/happiness.

I feel like it's meant to be a shotgun so that he could have a reason to "retire" or take a break? or rather that's the impression I get from many idols who may want to take a break from activities/the group without fearing fan backlash

but they get a lot of backlash anyway. but it does take focus away from the partner, since everyone is like why can't he use condoms

Man I really hope idols aren't having babies bc they need a break from their careers. I don’t have kids myself but I gather they don’t exactly bring LESS stress and exhaustion to your life lol
