i also did not expect this ending! [Spoiler (click to open)]i expected dal to die so when i did i could get over it really quickly but then monk skill he learned (and basically the whole amnesia plot) was a huge surprise and perhaps a bit cliche but i could handle it in a way because this is based on a folk tale right? and it was nice to see gajin and dal get a happy ending
so happy that go geon died lol but that man gaslit lady mae until the very end... i was happy to see lady mae and gajin/pyeonggang ending up on good terms
As most of us predicted General Go and On Dal will die. I also did not expect On Dal to be "resurrected" 🤭 but I'm glad its a happy ending for them. I always want happy endings! (Which is why I cried watching My Country and MoonSun)
I was frustrated at the King for some episodes (why do kings have to be played like that in most sageuks - helpless, fickle minded, sort of stupid) but at least he finally had the right mind to help his sister. The queen til the end was bad I do not.feel anything for her LOL
I kinda felt sad when General Go died. I knowwwww but the actor was good.
lmao i also can't handle sad endings so i was very content as well. i have mixed feelings on the resurrection story line but in the end i'm just happy the main couple is together
