so much happened again these episodes! the pacing of this show is so great. i love the smart and cunning moves by the female characters in this show - curious what lady mae will do now that she overheard go geon's true heart. go geon remains a gross human being, he is a true misogynist for not respecting pyeonggang's boundaries and using lady mae like that.
one thing i didn't understand though or i must've missed is why the crown prince (now king) suddenly has become such an asshole? except for dal, the men in this show are annoying
i say this every week but i love the way this show discusses the impact of killing someone and death in general has on a person
Yeahhh I was a bit surprised with the Crown Prince as well I had to rewatch part of the previous scenes when he was listening to the conversation between the King and ex-general-turned-monk. There was something about that talk that angered him.
My heart breaks for On Dal. He's been through so much yet his heart remains pure and he's forever loyal.
