I've been doing my best to keep up to date with what's happening through twitter and thai friends bc as usual the news is rubbish ¬_¬

It's really scary, esp when the police started using water cannons and tear gas but apparently the situation has calmed down a bit?

Prayers and support for all Thais out there. This is really a difficult time for them.

Since the start of the year, I've been watching a lot of Thai series and started following some of the celebrities in Twitter. A lot of them speaks out and supports the people of Thailand. Its really scary out there.(BTW, there are some people who have been egging Nichkhun to speak out. Some are even attacking his sister in social media.)

Some people expects all Thai artist to say something. Even Lisa is being asked to release a statement for support. And stan twitter can be crazy sometimes with these. Last Friday, I saw some updates on Thai celebrities who haven't showed support losing social media followers.

Tbh I don't blame them for wanting celebs to say smth but to attack them is a big yikes 🙃

Some fans were saying that they haven't said enough and as someone who isn't Thai it's not my place to say either way.

I'm just trying to understand both sides. Thai fans are well within their rights to be unhappy with celebs who don't speak up etc. Especially with the scale and importance of this movement. But I also understand why some celebs might not be able to if they're under contract or something.
