I figured it was gonna be sad, but knowing the details makes it even more heartbreaking. I just want to cry, they've had it so rough but they've still found the strength to carry on and I have so much respect for them. The industry can make or break you and you have to admire them for wanting to continue when they've had to deal with so many setbacks and negativity. I hope that this show can provide them with a golden opportunity to finally find the success they desire.

Wow :( it was hard reading some of this. I feel sorry they had to go through this and for so many years. I hope they’re able to overcome the trauma and financial problems they got from this experience. I don’t blame anyone for wanting to leave the entertainment industry.

I have recently spent a lot of time watching all my favourite 2nd gen ggs and thinking about how sexualised and awfully treated a lot of them were. Creepy, male-gazy MVs were just the tip of the iceberg and that Namyu documentary is something that always stays in my thoughts since they are one of my most beloved groups.

Things have certainly changed for the better but it's all small steps and we don't know how many girls (and boys, too) are suffering in silence right now. It's really heartbreaking.

But on a positive note I'd like to add that I really love how much time Sera dedicates to giving spotlight to less popular groups and how nice she always is on her channel. I don't care for reaction videos at all but I try to watch hers just because I know she's genuine and really cares.

Also, I love that both her and Subin are on this show together, they are so cute and seem to like each other so much ❤️

We knew it was bad but sometimes reality.... is worse. Soyeon describing being in a girl group traumatic isn't covering half of it. I hope they can all heal :(

I do at times wonder how much of this stuff is still going on, considering how many rich kids idols there are these days....

thank you OP

t-ara is my ult, so i knew about soyeon. she didn't speak much about it, but among fans it's pretty well-known somehow? it's the reason she and boram aren't performing with t-ara anymore because they are too traumatized and it's so heartbreaking
