Omg I almost forgot to post this, Easter and me being sick totally confused my brain for a moment.
My initial note says that finally someone has a gun but that turned out to be fucking useless didn't it. You just had to kill off one of not only one of the good female characters but literally one the only good cops in this whole drama.
Why is Jisoo's dad suddenly co-operative? His daughter's death made him miraculously changed his morals now? And then we're just gonna let it slide that he took bribes even if YSS "wasn't bribe bc it wasn't enough money" lol, he was still being bribed by someone else? Also the evidence he was so sure of that pointed to Jaein's dad seemed kinda shoddy to begin with, it just seemed like he wanted to do a fast job instead of a good job. "limbs to malfunction with a rotten head" - so he admits/believes Jisoo got killed bc he was corrupt?
Someone already theorized in a previous post that Sungmo might be the one who set the fire so this is just like

At first I was too lazy to discuss and theorise which I regret because it would've been nice to go back and see what i thought at the start in comparison to now but alas laziness is the bane of my life 😒

Ty, it's nice making these posts bc I feel like I'm always late to the party at twitter bc everyone sees all the juicy parts like right as the episodes air whereas I wait for the subs and don't want to spoil myself.. and also twitter's character limit doesn't let to ramble on as much as I want lol. I'm glad there's so many other people watching as well, I don't think I'm very good at theorizing anything bc I never get it right lol but it was fun seeing others do it.

i die at the actor who plays seongmo using this like... villain/bad guy voice as soon as he has become a potentially bad guy. and yes, the acting is definitely not holding up under the increased emotional and dramatic content of the show.
i guess if they offered seongmo's mom any protection she probably wouldnt even accept it anyways, since he's looking after her now. plus she's supposed to like not trust the police - understandable since they just let him escape lmao
SAME @ Jisoo's death being unnecessary and just there to cause pain for the other characters (or there as a catalyst for her dad to have a change of heart suddenly and give Sungmo some vulnerability, both characters being people who've lied and cheated their friends and family for their own gain and don't deserve the redemption but oh bohoo look they're only human they're sad too! idgaf lol), and SAME @ Sungmo getting a stupid redemption arc which he doesn't deserve.
lmao yes her dad can go to hell, seriously!!! sungmo idk i mean he's right when he says that ahn's readings are not legally binding and i know somehow he's gonna find a way to /not/ end up in prison lmao but i hate his ass! he did too little in my eyes for him to be forgiven. idk what he's gonna try to pull in the last two episodes but yeah. i'm not sure how he's ever gonna make it up to ahn even if he does end up walking away a free man.
If Ahn decided to be the bigger person and forgive Sungmo or some shit or Sungmo convinces him to, is2g... >:(
And not just Ahn, but Jaein, whose dad literally got framed for murder, which ruined her life as well, and Sungmo KNEW IT ALL ALONG god she needs to be rightfully pissed about that, I hope they don't sugarcoat it in anyway IS2G....

Honestly though, I didn't expect jinyoung's acting skills to be this good! I guess he's a perfectionist but still damn. Lee Ahn suits him perfectly so I guess that helps. I look forward to seeing him acting different types of characters~
Tbh I think Sungmo's actor just isn't made for dramatic roles imo lol... but it's also ott for Sungmo to be that dramatic.
But Jinyoung has loads of potential! I'm kinda glad this drama has so many various genres (even if they don't always mash together that well) bc we get to see so many various sides of Jinyoung's acting and how versatile he can be!

kay at first they were totally setting it up as though seongmo set the apartment fire and then they did a 180 and made it seem as if he didn't. wtf. i feel like it will turn out that he didn't.
honestly i have been doing my darndest but i'm starting to not follow what's going on in a lot of scenes lol.
obviously i'm upset about jisoo, i even teared up lol. i didn't think they were gonna go there BUT THEY DID
I think Jinyoung is a pretty good crier (I appreciate that he goes all out) tho I admit these last eps it kinda went over to silly almost (his face became so squishy all of a sudden...)
