their visual and overall casual image right now reminds me of exo's debut when they were teased like mad with all of the photoshoots and pre-releases. i still only know like 3 of them by name, but that's only bc a lot of them look really similar even for me. i really hope their actual debut doesn't disappoint bc there's already so much hype about them obviously not the same way as w1 is for obvious reasons, but my point stands
A large bulk of of their initial fans were Hakneyon fans, while the rest were fans of Younghoon and the guy that went on HS Rapper. From what I've seen on Twitter, they had a lot of casual to very invested Haknyeon fans stanning the group. And when Hakneyon was rumored to be out, they also lost a lot of followers on Twitter.
But after Haknyeon was added back in, they gained most of them back. And since the Dazed teasers, the other boys have been gaining dedicated fans too.
