Pann: Wendy's really severe weight loss;;

1. [+256, -4] Wendy's body type seems to be one where she's thin on top but heavier on the bottom. I'm that type too so I know her pain. You have to lose a lot more weight than normal to lose weight in the legs and then you end up with a skinnier upper half like this ㅠㅠ

"Once she gains more weight, you're going to go back to saying she's bad at managing herself; what do you want her to do?" exactly!!! now you are concerned when netizens were the ones that critized her for being too thick in the first place?! well this is what you get for pressing down those idiotic norms on woman (and men).

seeing that show campion stage is rlly painful, every elaborate move her bones are sticking out, so sad she went so far to get those results ;-; i love her so much for her personality, stage presence and voice, it makes me so sad she does this but i can imagine doing the same if you would read comments online and the HUGH amount of criticize on visuals instead of preformances/singing/dancing that happens (aren't idols supposed to be rolemodels...how is being unhealthy and looking/being underweight a good rolemodel??)

We keep having these discussion but nothing actually changes for the better for these idols. I'm holding a fundraiser to get this girl mental counceling and a proper nutriotionist, who's with me?

Maybe writing an open letter would be more realistically option?

Realistic? Yes. Effective? I doubt it. Tbh that's the problem, as fans we are always talking about it but are any of us really at power to do anything about it? idk idk

why would you want to criticize someone who was pressured into losing weight?

anyway, as someone who recovered from an ed, this discussion about wendy is making me very uncomfortable bc a lot of it feels like fake concern, especially from non rv fans

as someone who also recovered from an ed, I think the conversation is necessary. faux concern or not, pretending this is okay isnt right

where did i say people have to pretend it is okay? the thing is, knetz used to tell her she looked bad before so she lost weight and now people are trying to tell her she looks bad too? like thats gonna accomplish anything other than making her feel worst about herself.

the conversation needs to be about kpop's ridiculous body standards as a whole, not about a single person.

so since i'm not a rv fan i can't feel concerned about her well-being??? because that's how you worded it which is some bs

That picture honestly hurts my heart. I just felt sad when watching her perform.
None of these girls deserve to go through this constant pressuring to be thin.
