I read other chinese kpop idols posted on weibo the same image like Fei and Jia. No one should be surprised tbh

At this point I think there's no mainland chinese idol that hasn't posted or used this image in social media

lmao my sister told me even kris posted something along the same lines.

I'm curious if the community is aware of this issue regarding the territorial disputes in this area of Asia? Aside from the Dokdo and Senkaku island ones.

this used to be an 11-dash line, it became 9 for some reason, haha.

fuck. welp china should fuck off. they're too fucking greedy about everything that's not even theirs to begin with and they have the gall to be unashamed of their actions.

Idols - or celebrities in general - should NEVER get involved in politics. NEVER...-.-

After the Tzuyu mess when she didn't even do anything I don't know how idols are not scared of commenting about anything related to politics, even though here is the opposite case.

Completely disagree, although I also disagree with the stance taken in this case. No one (hopefully) thinks that idols sticking up for LGBT rights is a bad idea, or speaking out against racism, and those are both political acts. Besides which, kpop itself is used as a political tool by the SK government, saying that the people who are used for political purposes cannot themselves express political opinions is unfair. It's like when a male idol says something bad about how they act towards women - you wouldn't say that they shouldn't talk about relationships, you'd say why their specific statement/view is bad and I don't see how politics is different.

Erm...when I said "political" I really only meant "political" statements.

Speaking out against racism and for the rights of minorities is more like being a decent human being. I understand how your comment is meant, I guess I just have a different definition of what I see as a "political statement" and what not.

Sorry, I can't explain it better.
