This show turned out to be more entertaining than I thought it would be. The first two episodes really pulled me in. I thought it was going to be embarrassingly cheesy, but so far it's been the opposite. It's pretty funny, too.
I think what helps are the main actors. Lee Joon really surprise me with how natural he is. And it doesn't feel forced, I think they could have done a bitter better with the vampires, but I think I'm just mostly used to western vampire cinema, so I'm just being picky with that.
I'm sorry, but I just keep thinking how pretty Lee Joon is.
I love that San doesn't seem to know what's happened to himself yet. His body was very weak in the first episode and that's something I found endearing about him. I'm glad it's a slow realization of what he's become rather than going to fully realized super human in just one episode. Procedurals aren't really my thing, so I hope the overarching mystery remains central.
Overall I'm happy with it, and Lee Joon is still so very pretty
The show is so good, I love how they are balancing the case of the week with character moments. I've been a fan of Lee Joon's acting when I saw Heard it through the grapevine, so it's nice to see him choose good projects.
He got injected with some weird formula (vampire medicine?) that Gyewool's brother had been working on under force by that mysterious lady. By know we know that it made him immune to sunlight and he didn't turn the 'normal way'. I guess that formula was supposed to be used by vampires in the future. I wonder if the ability to see past happenings through blood is also 'vampire normal' or a side-effect by the formula?
