It is now June, and one_broken and I thought it would be a good time to look back at all the predictions we made in January and see which ones came true, partly true, or not true yet and what we’re still waiting for. I'd say your crystal balls have pretty accurate so far Omona. Should we get in the psychic business? My crystal ball says... My crystal ball says...



Yes! We would make millions with our Kpop predictions. Spread that among our 19,180 members... ___ divided by 19180. Carry the 2... Add 15... I suck at math. Anywho, it would be a fun, lucrative business. Omo! We could get entertainment companies involved, and we could predict future trends for them; it'd be great! Who's with me? ~____^ I now predict and make a reality a DBSK/JYJ reunion and a #1 for U-Kiss.
True

• SHINee continues to be amazing. Recent releases have shown this to be true.
• A Lee Hyori comeback. Girl has proven, she still got it.
• Shinhwa Broadcast gets more extension. It had a format change but is still broadcasting.
• More couple reveals. Eight so far. Lee Eunsung and Seo Taiji, Kim Kiri and Shin Bora, Lee Kiwoo and Lee Chungah, Rain and Kim Taehee, Moon Mason and Park Minha, Lyn and Lee Soo, Jo Insung and Kim Minhee, Tony Ahn and Hyeri (Girls Day)
• We get more cute pics of U-Kiss. KISSMEs would agree we got those.
• We will ban together and write many funny Omona Exclusives and other glorious posts. There have many wonderful, glorious posts. Some quite funny. Mention you favs in the comments. The #ChangeInKorea: Blackface Open Letter project has been amazing!
• Rainbow will actually make a comeback. Their comeback is set for this month! They also had one in Feburary.
• There will be an Ivy comeback. A teaser pic has just been released.

Partly True

• The Almighty Key will grace Twitter with his presence and shower the world with his fabulousness. He got an Instagram instead; he may yet get a Twitter.
• SM will allow all artists to leave the basement/closet/dungeon, and so Jino finally debuts much to the delight of his fans. Zhou Mi got his book Thai Perfect, Henry was on Korean Celebrity Masterchef and producing via Noize Bank FOR HIS SOLO DEBUT MINI ALBUM, however no Jino debut yet.
• 2PM will have a comeback so spectacular; JYP feels the need to lend the boys his plastic pants. No plastic pants but Comeback When you Hear This Song sounds like a JYP song with JYP style choreography. MV Live Performance
• An Omona member will discover Jaejoong’s phone…then can’t get into it due to wine damage. Jaejoong release some of his own racy pics (which are what we wanted from the phone) via his Twitter earlier this year, however some have been deleted. I'm sure they can be found on Tumblr still.
• Only 70 groups will debut in 2013 - none of them the expected YG groups/soloists. Who has been keeping count?
• SHINee coming back with a MEGA HIT in 2013. I’m not sure if their last two comebacks were mega hits. Shawls feel free to correct me with correct chart info if I’m wrong.
• The major companies will finally know we are here, and we are snarky. The #ChangeInKorea: Blackface Open Letter has gotten our name out there. Whether they actually know we're here and snarky is another matter.
• Minzy’s mother will take over 2ne1’s styling and kick Jeremy Scott to the curb. My Blackjack friend says 2ne1 hasn't worn much Jeremy Scott this year. The members have been tweeting about Chrome Hearts lately, so there is hope of no more Jeremy Scott!
• Amber will come back in a dress and high heels for f(x)’s next promo. Her sister posted a picture of Amber in high heels!
• TVXQ have a super amazing comeback and one of their concerts in Central America. They're having a concert in Peru July 13th.
• Busker Busker will continue to slay your faves and win awards. They did really well on the charts in March without releasing something new or promoting.

Not True

• Every month a different girl will claim she had rough sex with Seungri. YG's statement - “This is not a scandal,” will be released each time. At least, no reports as of yet.

Waiting For

• Yoochun will return to his first love: music.
• Spica will rise to fame, kick butt and be the HBIC they are.
• BEG will have a comeback in summer.
• Narsha drops a new solo album at the end of the year.
• Spica releases an amazing full-length album.
• GD will wear something normal and fangirls implode.
• The Spice Girls go Kpop, and no one can figure out why.
• Jo Kwon will get married in a normal ceremony to the shock of everyone, and then promptly perform Animal at the reception.
• Sunny Hill will take over the world using grasshoppers and giant letters.
• Fired from styling 2ne1, Jeremy Scott will take over SNSD. Their ahjussi fans will stage a revolt in honor of their precious dancing queens.
• KARA will release the next Korean song that goes viral. It will include a high amount of butt dancing in the choreography.
• Taeyang will finally wear clothes that won't make him look like Beelzebub.
• Taeyang will finally realize that dressing like he does gets him nowhere.
• TOP will finally take off his shirt.
• SM finally pays attention to CSJH The Grace and have them come back as four this year.
• f(x) has more than one comeback for 2013.
• AFTERSCHOOL won’t have any admissions this year.
• SNSD will realize the “I got a boy meojin” part of their song is the best, will make that into a full song and then pull a Wonder Girls and perform it for 468048615 years.
• NS Yoon-G and Simon will make their relationship public.
• miss A will go back to being the fierce bitches they were during Bad Girl Good Girl days.
• Hoya and Seo Inguk will finally get together, and Korea will be okay with it.
• JYJ will perform at music shows and encounter TVXQ backstage. It may or may not be awkward.
• Jessica loses the phone with pictures of her members changing.
