I need help with wordpress themes

Some friends and me are going to open a hallyu site for our country, we don’t really know anything about design so we want to buy a theme for wordpress so the site looks cool and that way attract readers from  my country and make more kpop fans in my country (we are just a few)

I never actually bought a layout, so I have little experience. I am not the best person to help you, but I would recommend you to google any the question you have about that site. There are many people who write reviews on layouts and share recommendations.
Probably, you already did, but if you didn't, I think these would be helpful 1 2 (also, read the comments) :D

I'm really interested, which country are you from, if that's okay to ask? Cause it seems that every country except mine has a large kpop fanbase. :D
