Painful to read, yet I couldn't stop.
Poor Tatsumi-san... I can actually see him doing that. The complete disregard to himself... Utter concentration at the task at hand... Very plausible and believable.
Can't wait to read whatever you decide to do next!
Gotta say... This has to be my favorite. Yay!

Exactly what I was going for ^^ I'm glad it worked so well for you :D

::wipes sweat:: Good! I was *so* afraid that something wouldn't work, either in characterization or in the plot. Now I feel all better about it ^^

That would be the two fics for the Gravity plotverse ::glares at the plotbunnies:: They're monsters, I swear :P Big, scary monsters with huge claws and teeth ;) I think I'll need an Excalibur or something. Got any? :P
::squeeze:: Thanks for commenting, I greatly appreciate it ::grin::

If you find one, pass it on to me, please. Stupid plot bunny kept me up the night before my interview... Rhea-san, lovely person that she is, is butchering correcting the resulting story for me. ::grin::
Take care, and I'll be waiting for the continuation of the Gravity series! ::squeal:: Yay!

I know it's a small point, but kanji is only one character set used by Japanese and it's rare that you don't get them interspersed with hiragana, at least. Also, it's generally written top to bottom, right to left (that is, down the right edge of the page, then another line to the left and so on.) I did expect him to use his pretty painting to bury his mother, somehow, since the story started with such emphasis on its production.
