Food in hotels (especially room order) ARE expensive, I think people know to go eat at local places when in hotels.

Why, oh why, make such a comparison between an octopus and a dalek! My poor mind is now seeing things where I shouldn't. XD I kind of think octopus are cute in their own way, but now likening them to Daleks?? :/

It's crazy how much everything cost! I don't know how they can justify charging so much for such basic things. We did just end up just going to cafes and restaurants, which was pretty awesome.
It is such a good show, isn't it? I'd forgotten how much I loved the early seasons- I just watched the EERIE episode (where they think that London's been bombed) and it is seriously one of my favourite episodes of any show. Just brilliant stuff.
They are such an adorable couple! I love Matthew in Little Dorrit- he is just so lovely!
I can't believe you're implying Dalek Caan isn't cute! How could you? :P I'm sorry for ruining octopus for you- they are pretty damn cute- but the comparison just had to be made!!! :D

Because at times guests just can't be bothered to go outside to get things. Or they don't mind paying because its a 'holiday'. Though some hotel places their restaurants and bistros can end up being cheaper than 'going out' if its a 'fancy' place.
Naw, I haven't seen it in a while now.

Caan and those others are cute -in their own way. I just find them (Daleks/octopus) to be cute in a bit of a different way. I didn't realise that you thought either of them cute by that comparison to be honest! Haha. Whoops. *g*

Don't worry- I was just joking about finding Daleks cute! I mean, they're strangely appealing because they look so ugly, but octopus are so much cuter!!! :D :D
