It does indeed, and I already have. And in spite of what they say about the declining number of HP fans, I was delighted to see how many others already had. Still, everyone pile on! There never is too much fic.

I was having a discussion elsewhere about the idea that even though there is less gen produced now, it is prime! The entries in last years springtime_gen and hp_holidaygen have been phenomenal! Way to go gen fic writers!

There's a crop of writers I haven't seen before (which is not to say they're not new, only that I seem to have discovered them all at once!) who are producing some great stuff. I agree - I thought 2009 was a vintage year for gen.
