Posting Guidelines
General
This community is for posting gen fiction and art only. For purposes of this community, we define gen to be fiction and art in which romance and sex are not the focus or a dominant part of the story. Beyond that, the sky is the limit! All characters, eras, ratings, and lengths are welcomed, as are all genres and styles.
When posting chaptered fics, however, please provide either a link to the completed fic, or post each chapter individually a minimum of one day apart. Please do not post WIPs.
Please post directly to the community, rather than linking to your personal or fic journal or another community, with the exception of chaptered fics as noted above.
Posts of anything other than fic or art (challenge notices, community pimps, etc.) require the permission of the mods and will be permitted at their discretion.
All fics and art will be archived in the community's memories. If you do not wish it to be archived, please indicate this in the author's note. In order to assist browsers looking through the memories, please place the title of the fic or art in the subject header, with the main character(s), if applicable, and rating in parentheses. (If it is untitled, just put "Untitled" in the subject header with any character or rating information.)
If desired, tag posts with the full name of the main character(s), i.e. "harry potter," "bellatrix lestrange," "ron weasley," not "harry," "bella," "ron."
For Writers
All fics longer than a drabble (110 words maximum) and all fics of any length rated above PG-13 must be placed behind the cut. Please use the following basic template above the cut and place the body of your post behind the cut.

If your fic has accompanying illustrations, you are encouraged to share them via a link or by including them in the body of your fic whether or not the artist is a member of omniocular, as long as all illustrations are placed behind the cut. You may not post illustrations drawn by others seperately (without the accompanying fic) without mod permission.
For Artists
All art, regardless of size or rating, must be placed behind the cut out of deference to those watchers on a dial-up connection or at work. A small (work-safe) thumbnail may be placed above the cut.
