As each member of the Order passed through 12 Grimmauld Place, Remus' emotions would go haywire. He was racked with worry between each visit, hopeful when someone entered the house, and back to worried when it wasn't her face each time. Matters weren't helped with Remus having to leave for the full moon and subsequently staying in Sirius' house for three days afterward. His nerves were on edge to the point that Sirius was giving him things to do but they didn't take his mind off of her.
Finally, after what felt like more time than it should have been, she came striding into the drawing room where everyone (including Remus) were cleaning and making the place habitable once more. Sirius punched him n the ribs then pointed toward the entrance. There she was with some ridiculous get-up, chatting with Molly as if he hadn't been sick with worry since the last time he saw her.
When the two women were done, Tonks waved good-bye and Remus was let to keep that image of her in his mind until the next time he saw her.
“You know,” Sirius spoke, breaking him of his thought, “I wouldn't mind the two of you if that's what you're worried about.”
