[ Have a morose-lookin' L, comfortably perched atop a pew inside the Church. Silently sitting there for quite a while, he is, staring blankly into space when truly pensive about his mysterious whereabouts (aka dumbfounded). In the event that eavesdroppers are lurking around, or should his own words be heard somehow (by Digital Level means, ( Read more... )

[POPS UP BEHIND YOU] Can't be so sure, really.

[DOESN'T MOVE AT ALL, and simply replies nonchalantly, giving the impression that he's not at all surprised.]

I take that you've been here much longer than I have.

[Slightly turns around this time, with only so little of his face actually visible.]

Would you happen to know what this place is? I don't speak of just this cathedral.

[WELL THAT WAS BORING.]

You're in a city, o' course. Doesn't look like much else, if you ask me.

[AW GOSHDARNIT.]

So it appears to be just a city.. Hmm..

You can call me Ryuzaki, by the way. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance.

I assume you're of.. English descent?

... Nobody is quite sure... All that I know is that it is called Template... [Fidgets a little, not sure how much about this place she should or shouldn't tell you. Particularly in regards to the 'you may be dead lol' area.]

I am sorry if that is not very helpful to you...

[Takes note of her fidgeting, assuming she knows more than just this city's name.]

I consider explaining all of what you know much more helpful; I also share the liberty of learning what I can about "Template," do I not? [spoken in a rather impassive manner]

Um... There is not much that I know, as I have just recently... arrived here myself. Though... [Fidgets again, not entirely comfortable with the subject. Still, she can't disagree with what he said; he has a point.]

... From what I have been told of this city, it seems a lot of us who come here are dead. Some of the others even consider it an afterlife of a sort. I... I am probably dead myself, and my roommate says he is the same way.

"Template," as an afterlife, I see. The likelihood of that does appear to be pretty high, yet remains debatable. [Truly, L thinks, "The likelihood is open for further testing, which I can accomplish only once I ascertain a reasonable degree of authority." He seems to have ignored whatever else she may have said, when truly he has committed it all to memory, should this information prove to be vital soon enough.]

.. How very uncostumary of me! [Thus placing his hand on his right cheek, face either blank or flustered, but honestly contrived] I'm afraid I haven't introduced myself at all.. tsk tsk..

[Returning to that callous tone] You can call me Ryuzaki.

Greetings to you too.

As new an arrival as I am? Or at least about a day older?

It's already a determinative remark, as is. [spoken nonchalantly]
