Haha, maybe I'm just not a very good conservative Christian...but they way they avoided questions at Southeast this morning made me kind of mad. Their views are kind of similar to my church, I guess, but what really annoyed me was their inability to come up with an answer other than "Well, the bible said so" especially since they never actually backed it up.
Also, you weren't in my group, but apparently around the time of the gay marriage amendment a few years ago, they had a big "sanctity of marriage" campaign. They, however, don't have a political agenda. Right.
They were even more vague and uninformed than most! I was so surprised when I heard the guy who was heading the table next to ours say that he was an ordained minister after saying ridiculously wrong things. And not even wrong because I don't believe in them, they're just blatantly incorrect. And his comment about how if the numbers/prophecies don't make sense, they're not true. And about how the Old Testament was fulfilled and nothing in it applies to the modern day, but still tried to say that Genesis was completely applicable
