Thank GOD and the UNIVERSE for this comm, is all I gotta say :) I have about 500 words written (mostly extended outline but hey) of an old idea that I’ve been batting around for a few years...Honestly, I’m feeling so depleted and out of ideas these days I’m not sure why I even think I can call myself a writer anymore but. I’m determined! Even if it means falling back on habit and formula and all the old stand-bys just to get the thing written...I’d LOVE to feel the excitement of the muse just flowing over and through me, but right now I’m just feeling hard-core determined not to fail, hoping the muse deigns to stop by at some point and fill me with the POWER OF LOVE because I LOVE WRITING! I REALLY DO!!!!

Sorry for the rant. Apparently I needed this! *hugs*

I have an idea, but I need to flesh it out a bit. I have a couple of shorts on a deadline to do, and then I can start!

Last year I did the author thing, mainly because I was having a year of fic - I'd set myself a goal in January to write more for the entire year thinking I'd be procrastinating for half of it, lol (I think I ended up somewhere in the 180k area). It was my bucket list moment in fandom, I knew I just had to be an author for the spn_j2_bigbang once, but now I've ticked that off the list I'm super excited to be back as an artist. It's like putting on a comfy pair of shoes and feeling your toes wiggling and knowing how relaxed you're gonna be all day ;)

Good luck to all the girls authoring, because believe me when I say - you're all awesome, I finally understand how damned hard it is, lol!
