I can not even find words...this is so intense, so rich and beautiful. I am going to go to bed and sleep on it and reread it a dozen times tomorrow and leave you a better comment. But, just, wow.

I am in awe.

I am not sure I can be any more coherent. This is just gorgeous.

I can feel how tired they are.

The sheets are cool and soft against his stomach. Emily's warm and strong beneath and beside him. The room is dark and quiet. He's looking for a modicum of peace, enough to convince his brain to park itself for a few more hours. That's all he wants. But in the dark and the comfort and the quiet, he can feel the dull spark of anger in his belly, seeping into his system, knotting his hands into fists.

I love how they comfort each other through the untenable and allow and accept the anger and frustration the other feels.

who is shivering despite the fact that her skin's about a zillion degrees, thanks to being wrapped up like a burrito.

That image made me giggle (sort of picturing Emily smeared with refried beans).

the way they sound layered over the words he can't keep from spilling out. The idea of what he might say, what he might not be able to stop himself from saying gives me the stomach flutters

This has such an amazing feeling of healing and peace about it. That need to find life in the midst of chaos. Anger and sadness and love. I don't know how you worked all that in there but you did. I'm so glad you are smitty's minion. Seriously. :D Thank you.

This absolutely wonderful. I really, really enjoyed this fic. I loved that Dave told Emily she did a good job with not telling the team about Hotch, because I think that's something she'd struggle with. And I loved the way Emily and Dave found life with each other; your sex scene was gorgeous.
