•Headdesking at work. People just don't fucking listen.

•Running the gamut of emotions in the five-minute walk between the bus stop and home. I got off the bus, happy that it was Thursday, then I saw something moving on the sidewalk. I got closer and it was a very tiny half-developed baby bird, the poor thing. You could see right through its skin ( Read more... )

That baby bird! Aw, my gosh. I always used to do the same as you, but now I'm kind of afraid to touch them because all I can think about are the diseases they carry. (Thanks for ruining my life yet again, microbiology.) I do still pick up worms off the sidewalk and put them in the grass, though, haha.

Seriously, they parked in your driveway? The hell is wrong with the street? That's so obnoxious, even if it's not blocking anything, and especially rude. Damn. You live in a very pretty neighborhood, though! :D

What the hell is wrong with Geico? You'd think they'd be on that better if it's so dang important.

And, wow. Whatever you're on to be having those dreams, I want some.

I was going to rip out a piece of paper from my notepad, but I thought even that would be too harsh for the poor thing. Not to mention that I wouldn't be able to feel the bird through the paper and I didn't want to injure it further (or, at least, I wanted to keep it to a minimum). Germs and diseases aren't gonna stop me because I'm stubborn a sucker for baby animals, dammit.

YEAH, I don't know. The house it self doesn't even have that much frontage anymore, which also sucks. I wouldn't have minded if they parked in front of my house -- the street is public and belongs to the city -- but the driveway is ours and no one should park there, really. I'm just glad my dad wasn't home or he actually would have gone off. (The neighborhood looks pretty nice but it's been affectionately (?) dubbed "Homicide Hollis," the same that some east coast rappers talk about. LOL I don't belong in my own neighborhood ( ... )
