Hey, I LIVE in the DC area. Metro is a hop-skip-and-a-jump for me. Never lost anything on it, so I don't know which station their lost and found is actually located at, but anyways. I guess I can just give you my work's fax machine and we can take care of it from there.
Yes, but are you coming to New York any time soon? I'd've asked this of anyone who lived in the DC area, but you'd have to get it to me somehow and I don't trust USPS with precious things right now. But thank you for the offer!
(And just in case you ever do need Metro's lost and found, it's at the Prince George (or is it St. George) station in Hyattsville.)
Ohhh, so that's what you meant. I have family in NY, but I'm not going there anytime soon. Is FedEx, UPS, or the like an option if you don't want to bother with USPS?
(It's Prince George's Plaza, which is the third stop into the Green Line from Maryland. The closest stop from my house is the very end of the Orange Line, but the second closest is the second stop on the Green Line, so it's basically a 5 minute trip for me)
The station attendant(s) I spoke to (might've been the same crabby woman both times) said that the service they use is FedEx, despite that the website says I could set up UPS or USPS if I wanted. USPS is definitely the way to go, as it's about the same travel time but half the price (and I'm broke), but my inhaler and some other things got lost in the mail this month, so I feel a bit wary and unlucky. tl;dr I'd prefer a direct hand-off at this point.
(Darn. That'd be so convenient if these 200 stupid miles weren't between us.)

Also, that video is a perfect summation of us. I totally take after Dory. I even name animals "my Squishy". And Ellen Degeneres is just amazing. XD
