Haha, some of the suggestions for Mo are so ridiculous. He'd get in trouble with the league for about half of them.

And I really hope Brad Friedel doesn't leave Blackburn. I mean, I know he wants to go, but they should hold on to him.

Disclosure: Friedel is my favorite player ever and is the reason I got into soccer period.

Now then...

If he leaves Blackburn, it's a relegation fight for sure, even before any of the rest of the players popping up in transfer rumors clear out. The country before club fan in me thinks it'd be neat to see him mentor Baby Brad, who's referenced Regular Brad as a hero, but the Rovers fan in me can't imagine the team without him. The fact that he's asking out after re-upping just five months ago implies there are serious problems behind the scenes; this is a guy who's held the team together for years, who's a marquee player in a position that generally doesn't produce marquee names.

To see Friedel leave Ewood under any circumstances besides "back to the states for an MLS victory lap and to run my academy" is just not right.
