 And so we come to an end, the last weekend of the MLS regular season.  While there is nothing really left to play for some of the play off positions are still in limbo and thus so are the coming match ups. Here is a quick run down of what is left to play for

In that case i'm sorry for your bad season. As a NY fan i realize im suppose to sort of dislike NE but they never did annoy me much. I enjoy when we beat them but I have never been like some of the others who just love seeing NE fail. Now if it has been DC though, different question. I enjoy all the DC losses like I cant even explain.

I hope everyone can appreciate the fact I didnt turn this entry into a giant victory post in honor of red bull winning the eastern conference regular season title. trust me i was tempted to but managed to not mention it even once.

This weekend just generally feels like an end of an era when it comes to MLS. I wont lie I generally have been able to only muster up dislike for Jamie Moreno but it is sort of weird and sad to see him go. Add to that the retirement this year of Clint Mathis, Mike Petke, John Wolynic, Steve Ralston, and Brian Mcbride. It feels like sort of the MLS I grew up with is now finally gone.
