Oh, don't worry, you haven't procrastinated. I mean, I sit around every day doing absolutely nothing (no, really, sometimes I just stare at the screen watching my screensaver) and I've barely even thought about doing this.
But I HAVE procrastinated, because I have an anatomy lab practical on Monday I haven't started studying for. I mean, I know a lot of it already, but it's a timed thing and I'm worried I don't have it down enough to be able to remember under pressure.
Watching the screensaver can be fun! Especially one of the defaults, where the icon bounces somewhat randomly around the screen. I play "guess its trajectory" sometimes, like what they did in The Office one time.
Thanks! It's a rich history (for the MLS, at least), and somewhat sad. I left out a bunch of backroom/off-field drama.
They were technically before my time in me watching soccer as well (I didn't start watching until 2006). However, the newspaper I get is from San Jose, so whatever soccer articles in there are all Earthquakes-focused. I would know some news in the periphery, just like how I don't watch hockey except the playoffs but know how the Sharks are doing.
No pictures, sorry. I fail at finding (official) ones tbqh, that is fine because this is quite possibly the worst picture taken of anyone ever. (Grabavoy is the tiniest, cutest thing though.)
Oh my gosh, I remember the Clash! Or at least hearing about the Clash. haha thanks
I know where the A's + Earthquakes office (I think for public affairs or something) is. It's in the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose. So strange to pass by it when the Earthquakes weren't around...
So currently, the Quakes aren't doing so great. They're last in the MLS in goals scored and in the league standings despite having a pretty good defense. However, despite the awesome defense in the form of Joe Cannon (the keeper), he can't win a match by himself. Our strikers are mostly young boys (early 20's), although they recently bought a couple older guys. A couple of the younger guys have some exciting potential since they're quick and create a lot of opportunities. It's just the missing partnership between them and the midfield, as well as some unlucky misses, that have caused the goal shortage. SO SO SO SO TRUE. I've seen them live and a bit on TV and they have so much potential and I hope they can get strong in one or two

My screensaver is a slideshow of the "Yanks" folder on My Pictures, so yeah, it's a lot of fun. :D
