"Good morning," he said calmly reclining back in his chair slightly and tapping the base of the paper reports on the desktop to straighten them. It would have been ridiculous to ask how she was or to ask if everything was okay--obviously with the continued absence of their local terrorist things were not okay.
"Is something amiss aside from our missing terrorist?"

"I have several search machines to alarm if they sense an unusual maryoku, but so far there has been nothing worthy of note." She didn't want to admit her presence was her slight guilt about the situation.
She stood opposite Gwendal, close to his desk and looked over at his bookshelves. "I know you knit to release tension, however, is there an alternate solution when that doesn't seem to quell them?" She felt tremendously uncomfortable and almost ashamed to hint at any sort of weakness.

He dropped the papers on the desk and grinned up at her. "I believe that when two people find themselves stressed and their usual habits of relieving that stress are ill suited that making love or at least making out is a very relieving past time."
