Yozak was moving through the halls, on patrol. It was his least favorite duty, but it was something, and it kept him from going stir-crazy. He was well-rested, and well fed, and clean, and overall feeling pretty good. Cuddling all night with Gunter had been, surprisingly, very comfortable and pleasant, despite the lack of sex.

Weird.

He brought up a hand to wave to the woman with the long red hair when he saw her.

Josak always seemed like a willing subject, except he was mostly useless to her inventions. A bit of a pity, but he had been useful previously in getting uncooperative military leaders to be a little more cooperative. And for things like that, she didn't mind him much at all.

She offered a smile and put a fist on the one side of her hips. "Josak, it's been a while. I see you were uninjured in this whole ordeal."

"Yeah. Just lucky, I guess." He smiled back, easy and pleasant. "You get by okay?" He hadn't heard anything, and she looked unharmed. But that didn't mean anything, after healers got a hold of someone and a little time passed.

"I was in my lab at the time. At least I hadn't been formally accused of this explosion." Though she still felt guilty enough by letting Ken and Julia into the castle. "Most of the injured from this area seemed rather well on their way to recovery. Though, that only now shows proof that the castle needs to be better fortified! I have several devices that are likely to protect the castle from something like this." She had her doubts Gwendal would let her use them, but she now had a better arsenal of persuasion.
