After his discussion with Shouri, he was feeling even worse about that clumsy mistake earlier.
How could he have let his guard down? How careless. He should have had more control over himself when out with Wolf. No more alcohol for a while. Just duty. That would keep him busy. Patrolling the halls and keeping his king safe was all he needed to focus

"Julias soul..." Wolfy was right. He was as close to Julia as Conrad could get. But there was no way Conrad had those kinds of feelings for him. No way that accident had actually been...not an accident.
currently, he sat at his desk head burred in his arms as he tried to figure out exactly what had ruined what he thought was the start of a wonderful day.
He heard voices outside the door, most likely some guards. As long as it wasn't the one person he was trying to avoid now more than anyone.
Wolfram.

"I suppose you're right."
His smile faded at the mention of Gunter. " You did? Well you are alive so I take it ended alright."
He glanced at the door to Yuuris office and bit his lip. He still wasn't sure if he should go in or not.

Of course this didn't last long; it went nearly just as quickly as it had came. Wolfram had been passing the kitchens on his way to the stables; he thought it was about him he paid his horse a visit. This was when he had heard the maids gossiping away on the other side of the door. Usually he paid no attention; most of what they said wasn't accurate anyway. That was until he heard the words: His Majesty, Lord Weller and kiss all in the same sentence.
"Cheating Wimp!"
He rushed off, pushing pass a servant nearby. He felt his stomach drop, Yuuri had only just been kissing him the day before. What was up with that? He brushed quickly at the sides of his eyes, feeling pickling tears. He ran upwards in the castle, screaming at anyone who might know where the 'ungrateful little cheater' would be ( ... )

But of course all he really wanted to do was stay inside his office and hope Conrad explained the situation. Than again...unlike Wolfy this worlds Wolfram didn't have a close relationship to Conrad. What if it only made things worse?
With only a moment's hesitation he moved out from his seat, going over to the door with a shaky hand to let the people in the hall know he was inside. He opened the door enough to let himself pop halfway out. "Wolfram...don't go around yelling, I think your having a terrible misunderstanding."

His hands twitched, he wanted to deal with Conrad, in the only way he knew, a sword fight. Anything to let go of the betrayal he felt. But something told him not to, so he kept his eyes away from his brother, and looked to see what Yuuri had to say for himself, though he doubted it would change his mind about anything.

He could see the animosity in Wolframs eyes. The hurt in his face was almost to much to bare. Yuuri moved on an impulse, leaving door and taking Wolframs hand, without a moment for the other to hesitate he pulled him into the office.
"I'm sorry, Conrad." He only gave his God father a short moment of attention. WEither he was apologizing for the situation or for how conrad felt...well he didn't specify. As soon as he had Wolfram in the office Yuuri closed the door. Leaving Conrad with Yozak.
"Wolfram," Yuuri started, letting go of his hand and leaning against the door to recollect himself.
He really should be kicking himself in the head, now he was all alone with a burning fuse.

He huffed and slumped against the wall. "Anyway, yes. Gunter. It went...well. Differently than I had planned. I think you and he miscommunicated a few things. I also think you're better off without him."

He gave Yuuri an apologetic look before he watched his brother and the king go into the office.
He leaned back against the wall and bumped his head against it.
"You're probably right. Everything's such a mess."
