Day 71, late night/early morning

Feb 26, 2011 00:24

After his chat with Anissina, Murata decided to go back to the kitchen for supper and another lively chat with the maids. He tried inquiring about Anissina out of curiosity but couldn't get much out of it before one of the maids who worked part-time at a tavern in town rushed in shouting "Big news! Big news!" She stopped immediately in her tracks ( Read more... )

Wolf stumbled down the hallway, was this the right way? Conrad had pointed him this way. Yes! It was. He was really blurry-eyed by now. They’d kept trying to leave but got pulled into more songs and more games and once they had both Wolf and Conrad there they didn’t want to let them go. He rubbed his forehead. His shirt was half unbuttoned and he smelled like he’d been in a brewery all night. What time was it, anyway ( ... )

Well, leaving that stuffed toy by the door had been a good idea after all. Murata considered keeping it there as a permanent alarm system.

He set the book aside and hurried over to where Wolf had fallen. He looked out the open door before closing it and noticed Conrad shirtless and slumped over in front of Yuuri's door down the hall.

Ah...so what the maid said really was true. He frowned and adjusted his glasses, pushing away any strange thoughts that tried to make their way into his mind. Wolf would explain everything later, hopefully.

He helped Wolf up to the best of his ability, slinging Wolf's arm around his shoulder. "Jeez, Wolf..." He reeked of alcohol and perfume, and didn't look too good either. Though Murata knew that he'd have to wait until Wolf was in a better state of mind to confront him about his reasoning if he wanted a decent answer, so for now he would just worry about helping him up and getting him to bed.

“Mmm...” Wolf whimpered as he he was helped up.

“Mmmurata.” He had a shiny new sword belt attached to his belt now. He leaned into the slighter boy. “Wanted to come back earlier.... sidetracked.” His words all slurred together of course. His legs felt all wobbly and funny, and he was warm and had been teased most of the evening so his body was a jumble of heat.

“Sorry.” He purred.

He did feel as if he might throw up, but he’d at least eaten so it wasn’t -so- bad. “Why is the room spinning..." He complained, "There are two of you now? Are you my Murata?” he pawed the Other’s shirt.

“My Murata.” He giggled, it was funny! Of course, everything was funny when you were drunk.

Only when Wolf leaned on him and he stumbled a little because of it did Murata notice Wolf had a new sword. So he'd gone to town to get a sword and had 'sidetracked' into a tavern to get drunk out of his mind? Hmm.

"Well next time try to control yourself a little. You look miserable right now." He wanted to say more but Wolf suddenly started going on about the room spinning and about there being two of him and before he knew it his shirt was being pawed at. "Ah, Wolf, you really are horribly drunk..." He couldn't stop a smile at the 'My Murata,' though. That giggle was too cute.

He led him to the bed and helped him lay down near the edge of the bed. "Here, keep one foot on the floor. It will help with the spinning." He said as he unbuttoned Wolf's shirt completely though half the buttons were already undone and unbuckled the belt to set aside the sword.
