The Tomb of the Great One was well protected; therefore the recent Zombie threat did not interfere with day to day vigil. Lady Ulrike knew of the portal that had opened and it had distressed her greatly. The comfort in the knowledge that the Great One always knew what he was doing helped her to stay vigilant. Gisela stood off to the side with her arms crossed, supervising the loading and unloading of supplies in the temple courtyard. Occassionally she snapped at one of the girls or soldiers when she felt they weren't being gentle or putting something in the wrong place, but otherwise she was impatiently tapping one foot and eager to get back to her patients in the infirmary. She hadn't slept much since the undead invasion, and rarely set foot outside of work, and it was making her more cranky than usual.

“Gisela, how wonderful to see you!” Ulrike’s smile was serene when the healer was admitted to the temple to inspect the crates and have them moved to the wagon. “It has been a while. We have gathered many herbs and I hope they will be useful to you." she placed her hands together in front of her and gazed up.

"Would you please tell me, how has the castle fared in the wake of these latest trials? How is Heika handling it? Did Prince Shori arrive safely?"

She tried to keep her questions minimal but she did feel a little bit of excitement whenever Gisela came for she knew she could hear the latest news.

Gisela dropped her arms and offered the little maiden a respectful bow, though her attention wavered to the wagon. "Thank you for the herbs. I'm sure they will be very useful. We've had many patients to tend to recently, and I worried we wouldn't have enough medicines."

She shifted back on her heels, arms crossing again. "I'm afraid I've been too busy to keep up with everything in the castle, but it seems to be recovering steadily. I haven't seen the king's brother, but I understand he arrived in good health and is settling in well."

“That makes me very happy to hear.” Ulrike gave an enigmatic smile. “I was distressed for your safety during that time but I felt sure the Great One would ensure that all would be well.” She had spent many hours praying for those who had suffered that day. “I am pleased to hear that he made it safely. I shall be paying a visit to him soon to further his training.”

She let out a breath, “Truly, Gisela, I also felt fear that there wouldn’t be enough myself. I would suggest to Heika that riders be sent to collect herbs from other areas of the Kingdom if this additional support does not suffice. What of yourself? Is everything well with you?”
