Day 65, morning

Gunter thought he heard something loud but the bed was comfortable and frankly, he wasn't sure he wanted to leave it. Though, as he went to roll to his side, he felt something soft yet also felt something tugging at his head. It wasn't the typical delight he felt when someone pulled his hair, but actual discomfort. Sitting up, he didn't see ( Read more... )

Today was supposed to be better. It really was. He woke up happier, anyway. Less stressed out. His sparring session with the new Wolfram had helped a lot, and though he was still pretty pissed about Alford's continued freedom - with a sword! - he wasn't going to let it ruin his temper forever ( ... )

Gunter heard a familiar voice and face, but the words - well they just weren't there. And he was rather proficient with a number of languages. His one extra long ear perked a bit, but he just blinked at Josak for a moment. He wondered if this too was part of whatever was causing these ears of his.

His stomach growled a little and he put his hands against it. "I guess I should eat. Would you care to join me?"

"A ... dias ... era ... esoht ... srae ... no ... ruoy ... deah?" Yozak huffed, clearly annoyed. "Tahw si htiw enoyreve?!"

His own stomach rumbling at the prospect of, finally, getting some toast and coffee, he grabbed Gunter's arm. "Haey! Ste'l teg emos tsafkaerb. Eht sdiam tnow neve tel em ni eht nehctik!"

Gunter still had no idea what he was saying, but once he mentioned food, he seemed to get excited. Maybe no one could understand when he wanted food?

He let himself get dragged along, trying to sort out this mystery as well as fill in Josak's blanks.

"I don't understand what happened, but I suspect Anissina did something that is causing everyone some level of inconvenience. These bunny ears could be useful in some situations, but not as a permenant fixture. To think it came with a tail as well!" His ears flopped against him as they went through the halls and they were rather annoying. But he wasn't without ideas. "Hey! Maybe you could write things down and get your requests that way! Or there's always fun with charades. It's a little more effort, but useful."
