Gunter tensed as his solitude was disturbed by not one, but two presences, though only one spoke.
'Good morning'Looking up from the blueprints he saw a lovely greenhaired woman.
"Is it still morning? It feels like ages have passed," he says running his palm across his eyes. "I wish this place had better lighting," he complained.
She gave him a little chuckle for his wink. "Heika is doing a wonderful job. So much has changed for the better since he came here." She took note of the book he was reading. "Geography?"
"It's like looking at a map of the past." He pointed to a mountain on the map. "This area, this mountain ended up being a volcano and all this," he ran his finger in a circle around a large area, "is paved in hardened lava."
"I ride through that area regularly. There's a village on the other side here..." She pointed an area near the base of the mountain. "I bring them supplies and give them exams at least once a month.
"Speaking of which, every new arrival needs to be screened for foreign disease. If you don't mind, it's a very quick procedure."
He arches an eyebrow. "You want to play nurse with me? Do I need to strip or do you? With the candlelight this is a rather fitting setting for some sort of role play game."
"Keep your clothes on!" she snapped, more than a little horrified at the thought. For the love of GOD, keep your clothes on. "No games, no role play, I just need your hand."
He crossed his arms over his chest, keeping his hands away from her. "You going to read my lifeline or something? I don't care much for gypsy mysticism."
She set her jaw and held her hand out. "I can't do a complete scan of your vitals or any possibly dangerous diseases you may have carried over with you unless I have contact with some part of your body. It's called magic, and there is nothing mystic about it."
