T!Ed: *hops out of Ren's car as soon as it pulls to a stop in front of Colin's office, grabbing his bag with the red stones and clothing inside, and slinging it over his shoulder*
C!Envy: *locks the car and joins him, leading the way up the stairs to the office* Are you ready?
T!Ed: Yeah... *slips his hand into his, and exhales a slow breath*
C!Envy: *squeezes his hand, still not wanting to lose contact with him but feeling significantly less shaky* Alright. Gods, this is awkward.*unlocks the door, letting them in* Hello?
T!Ed: *steps inside after him, watching the room carefully*
C!Envy: *shuts the door quietly behind them, flicking the lock into place*
?????: ::sitting on the edge of Ren's desk, looking slightly bored, but watching them both now with curiosity:: Hello.
C!Envy: *smiles tentatively at him* This is Edward. The human I told you about.
T!Ed: *fidgets a bit, offering a small smile* Um... Hi.
?????: ::smiles a little, basically mirroring each of theirs:: Hello, Edward.
T!Ed: We, uh, brought you some new clothes since those seem to be a bit too small for you... *laughs lightly, feeling way in over his head, and lets go of Ren's hand in order to pull the garments out of his bag*
C!Envy: *willing himself to relax a bit* Yes, there are also more red stones somewhere. And we would be glad to have you come live with us, if you are still interested. Sorry we took so long getting back.

?????: ::watches Ed a little, then turns his attention back to Ren, noticing he's behaving a little differently than when he left:: I am ready to leave.
C!Envy: *smiles, a little bit more at ease* Alright, well if you would like to change before you go, that might be a good idea. You can eat on the way if you like.
T!Ed: Here you go, if you want to change... *holds the clothing out for him a bit nervously*
?????: ::nods:: Listening to the people here is the same as reading the files. ::looks again at Ed and the clothes... holds out his hand::
?????: ::takes the clothes from him and begins to undress::
C!Envy: *looks at him questioningly* How do you mean? *looks down when he starts to change*
T!Ed: *looks away as well*
?????: ::pulling the new pair of pants on:: They talk about the same type of information.
C!Envy: *laughs quietly* Yes, I had noticed that, too. When I took time to listen. I think these are mostly legal offices, so it mkes sense.
?????: ::nods and reaches for the shirt::
C!Envy: *relaxing a bit more, sits down on a short couch against one wall of the office, tugging Ed to follow*
?????: ::looks once again at Ed:: What do they sound like to you?
T!Ed: *squeezes his hand and follows, sitting down and leaning against him very lightly as he does*
T!Ed: What the people outside of the office sound like, you mean..?
?????: ::nods, sits back down on the desk::
T!Ed: Um... Just like everyone else, I suppose. Though I don't get most of the legal stuff that they're talking about. *chuckles a little, shrugging*
C!Envy: Would you both like to go home, now? It might be a bit more comfortable, anyway.
?????: ::nods:: I would.
T!Ed: I wouldn't mind.
C!Envy: *nods as well* Alright, sure. *gets up, digging through the bag for the stones and holding them out* Here. This should help. You are probably feeling a bit dizzy, aren't you?
T!Ed: *stands as well and moves quietly to the door to wait*
?????: Yes, I am. ::takes them more calmly than before and begins eating them one at a time::
C!Envy: *watches, a bit fascinated in spite of himself* Alright, if you'd like, we can go home now. The car is downstairs. It's a short drive. *joins Ed by the door*
T!Ed: *opens the door and peers out cautiously, just in case, before stepping into the hall*
?????: ::follows behind... mimics Ed's peering and grins a little to himself::
T!Ed: *catches this and chuckles faintly, not sure what to think*
C!Envy: *gives him a slightly amused glance, waiting for him before locking the door, making a mental note to send in a cleaning crew* Okay. Down here. *heads for the car, digging out the keys and unlocking it*
?????: ::trying, and failing somewhat, to take everything in while looking as natural as the two of them as they head for the car::
T!Ed: *brings up the rear, trotting along behind them*
C!Envy: *decides to let them fight out who gets to sit where, and lets himself in the driver's side, starting the car* Don't worry. No one is paying attention. No need to try and fit in. *smiles wryly*
?????: ::stands in front of one of the rear doors for a second, catching his reflection in the glass; grins and opens the door::
T!Ed: *gets into the front passenger seat and fastens his seatbelt, glancing into the back a moment through the side mirror*
C!Envy: *catches his grin and can't help grinning back* We'll get you a real mirror back in the apartment. That should be interesting. *starts off toward the apartment*
?????: ::looks around the inside of the car until they start moving, then watches out the window as buildings go by, doing his best to memorize all of them::
T!Ed: *sighs softly to himself and fidgets with his bag as Ren drives, watching out the window every once in a while*
C!Envy: *sneaks glances at Ed next to him, trying to see if he is getting panicky or not, not really knowing what to say, so just driving, pulling up to the apartment garage in about ten minutes*
T!Ed: *catches one of the glances and smiles a little, then gets out of the car and goes to open the rear door*
?????: ::climbs out of the car once the door is opened, and looks down at Ed, still trying to figure out what the difference between them is aside from the feeling::
C!Envy: *smiles back, getting out and leaning against the driver's side door until they're ready* The apartment is up there. *points up once they're out of the garage, walking into the atrium*
T!Ed: *smiles as best he can up at him and closes the door before turning and following after Ren*
?????: ::gives his back a somewhat confused look after he turns around and returns to looking around at everything else::
C!Envy: *presses the button on the lift, deciding he'll be very glad when people decide to start speaking again*
?????: ::too distracted by everything to take more than a passing notice that no one is talking::
T!Ed: *steps inside the lift and decides to break the silence* When we get back up there, I can start working on getting stuff set up for your room. Since you'll probably be with us for a while...
?????: ::nods:: All right.
?????: ::looks over at Ren:: What do you want me to do here?
C!Envy: There are two to choose from, I guess the one down the hall from us rather than next to us might be a bit better for, ah, privacy reasons. *smirks faintly, getting out of the lift and unlocking the apartment door* Okay. This is it.
T!Ed: *blushes faintly at what Ren said and heads into the apartment, scooping up the cat as she makes an attempt at escaping*
?????: ::nods:: Okay. ::peers through the door like he did leaving the office, then steps inside::
C!Envy: *heads into the living room, pushing open the sliding door onto the balcony* Here. this is what I told you about with having a good view.
?????: ::follows him, watching how he opened the door, then stepping out onto the balcony, looking around at the skyline and then down at the road beneath with a bit of a smirk::
T!Ed: *closes the door before setting the cat down and throws his bag on the ground near the wall, then follows after them to the balcony*
C!Envy: *smiles over at him* What do you think?
?????: This is good.
C!Envy: *walks back inside, taking Ed's hand and speaking softly* You alright?
T!Ed: *squeezes his hand and smiles faintly* Yeah, I'm fine. Overwhelmed, but fine.
?????: ::remains outside on the balcony, watching people pass below, eavesdropping on the two of them only slightly::
C!Envy: Alright. That is good, I guess.*amiles and kisses his cheek quickly, calling back to ?????* Is there anything you would like to do first?

T!Ed: *kicks Ren in the shin lightly, rolling his eyes* After that, how about a tour of the apartment?

C!Envy: We'll see about that later...*grins sweetly at him and leads the way to the downstairs bathroom, pushing the door open for the full-length mirror* First stop.
T!Ed: *blushes and shakes his head, trying to keep back a grin, and trots after him*

T!Ed: *leans lightly against Ren, watching as well*
C!Envy: *slips an arm around Ed contentedly*
?????: ::smirks at his reflection again, then runs a hand through his hair, trying to get it to fall in one direction while trying a few other expressions::
T!Ed: *bites his lip, trying not to crack up at his behaviour, and snuggles against Ren a bit*
C!Envy: *grins, watching him* Not too bad, hm? *lighly running fingers down Ed's back*
?????: ::slowly distracted by the two of them, watches their reflection in the mirror, smiles a little at them:: No.
C!Envy: *curiosity gets the better of him* Where is your mark? I did not notice it earlier.
?????: Mark?
C!Envy: Your ouroboros. The black circular mark we are created with. ...Unless it is somewhere you cannot see yourself. *shrugs*
?????: ::looks at his reflection again:: I have not seen something like that.
C!Envy: *frowns quizzically* Hm. Must be on your back or something. *taps his upper left thigh with a finger* Mine is on my leg.
?????: ::turns around to make sure he can see his back in the mirror, then takes his shirt off and looks over his shoulder::
C!Envy: *tries not to look as amused as he is at the perpetual stripping*
T!Ed: *looks away slightly to allow him some privacy*
?????: ::somewhat entertained by Ed's shyness::
?????: ::looks over his back from the bottom up, finally noticing the mark just below the base of his neck... smiles:: I see it now.
C!Envy: *glances up, looking where he's indicating* Not bad at all. Suits you, somehow.
T!Ed: *looks up to see as well and nods along with Ren's statement*
?????: ::runs his fingers over it::
C!Envy: *also a bit amused with Ed's reaction* That is probably the most obvious difference between us and humans. The mark, I mean.
?????: Why is it here?
C!Envy: You mean, on the back of your neck?
?????: ::nods::
C!Envy: *shrugs* No idea. I guess they just... appear where they want to. Not really sure.
?????: Hm. ::looks at it for a few more moments, then puts his shirt back on::
C!Envy: *slides off the counter, tugging Ed with him and waiting in the hallway to continue the tour*
?????: ::follows them once again::
T!Ed: *walks beside him and hesitantly slips an arm around his waist, glancing quickly at ?????*
C!Envy: *leans against him slightly, kissing his cheek* Hm?
?????: ::watches Ed neutrally::
T!Ed: Nothing. *smiles a little and squeezes his waist lightly*
?????: ::steps forward just enough so he's in Ed's peripheral vision and smirks at the two of them:: Where are we going next?
C!Envy: *smiles back comfortingly, gladly keeping contact* There isn't much else down here. The stairs are down the hall...
T!Ed: *raises his eyebrows at ?????* We could show him his room.
?????: Where do the stairs lead?
T!Ed: To the bedrooms and kitchen.
?????: ::nods::
C!Envy: And the study, which isn't very interesting aside from having a lot of books. Feel free to pick over those at your leisure.
?????: ::smiles at the mention of the study::
C!Envy: *reaches the top of the stairs* Um, kitchen is through there, but I cannot imagine you really using it much.
?????: ::looks through the door anyway::
T!Ed: And the study is just down here. *stops in front of it*
?????: ::walks down the hallway towards Ed and peers into the study::
C!Envy: Shall I go get some bedding from the closet? The guest beds are not made up yet.
T!Ed: That would probably be good, yeah. I can show him where the room is.
C!Envy: Sure. *gives his hand a last squeeze and heads off to the hall closet, finding some suitable bedding and going to make up the bed in the room down the hall from them*
?????: ::slips into the study to get a better look::
T!Ed: *squeezes back before leaning against the doorframe of the study, waiting until ????? is finished looking around it*
C!Envy: *finishes with the bed, looking down the hall for them*
?????: ::makes his way around the room and returns to Ed without a word::
T!Ed: *smiles faintly and leads him down the hall to the room across from his and Ren's* This one is yours.
?????: ::nods, stops outside of it for a second, then steps into the room::
C!Envy: *had gotten bored waiting, blinking at his reflection in a wall mirror, turning and smiling when they enter* It isn't much. We haven't bothered getting more furniture or anything.
?????: ::looks at the bed:: It will do.
T!Ed: *walks inside and stands near the door* If there's anything that you need, though, don't be afraid to ask.
C!Envy: *mild amusement* Wonderful. Our room is across the hall, just knock if you need anything.
?????: ::nods:: All right.
C!Envy: Oh, and I have lots of the stones. If you would like, I can just give you some now and you can let me know when you run out.
?????: That would be good.
C!Envy: *slips across the hall, taking out a box from the closet in their room and dropping a couple dozen into a drawstring bag, returning a second later and handing them over* Here. This should last a little while.
?????: ::takes the bag and looks inside, smiles:: It should.
C!Envy: Do you have any more questions? Otherwise we can leave you to explore or the like.
?????: I will find you, then.
C!Envy: *smiles amiably* Sure.
?????: ... Once I am done exploring here, though, can I go elsewhere?

T!Ed: *stuffs his hands in his pockets and rocks on his heels a bit, listening

C!Envy: *reaches the top of the stairs* Um, kitchen is through there, but I cannot imagine you really using it much.
?????: ::looks through the door anyway::
T!Ed: And the study is just down here. *stops in front of it*
?????: ::walks down the hallway towards Ed and peers into the study::
C!Envy: Shall I go get some bedding from the closet? The guest beds are not made up yet.
T!Ed: That would probably be good, yeah. I can show him where the room is.
C!Envy: Sure. *gives his hand a last squeeze and heads off to the hall closet, finding some suitable bedding and going to make up the bed in the room down the hall from them*
?????: ::slips into the study to get a better look::
T!Ed: *squeezes back before leaning against the doorframe of the study, waiting until ????? is finished looking around it*
C!Envy: *finishes with the bed, looking down the hall for them*
?????: ::makes his way around the room and returns to Ed without a word::
T!Ed: *smiles faintly and leads him down the hall to the room across from his and Ren's* This one is yours.
?????: ::nods, stops outside of it for a second, then steps into the room::
C!Envy: *had gotten bored waiting, blinking at his reflection in a wall mirror, turning and smiling when they enter* It isn't much. We haven't bothered getting more furniture or anything.
?????: ::looks at the bed:: It will do.
T!Ed: *walks inside and stands near the door* If there's anything that you need, though, don't be afraid to ask.
C!Envy: *mild amusement* Wonderful. Our room is across the hall, just knock if you need anything.
?????: ::nods:: All right.
C!Envy: Oh, and I have lots of the stones. If you would like, I can just give you some now and you can let me know when you run out.
?????: That would be good.
C!Envy: *slips across the hall, taking out a box from the closet in their room and dropping a couple dozen into a drawstring bag, returning a second later and handing them over* Here. This should last a little while.
?????: ::takes the bag and looks inside, smiles:: It should.
C!Envy: Do you have any more questions? Otherwise we can leave you to explore or the like.
?????: I will find you, then.
C!Envy: *smiles amiably* Sure.
?????: ... Once I am done exploring here, though, can I go elsewhere?
C!Envy: You mean... outside?
?????: Yes.
C!Envy: Ah, I do not see why not... You will know how to find your way back?
?????: ::nods:: I will find out.
C!Envy: *amused glance* Do you think you could recognize things by scent yet?
T!Ed: *stuffs his hands in his pockets and rocks on his heels a bit, listening
quietly*
C!Envy: *notices Ed's fidgeting, moving a bit closer to him*
?????: Hm. ::breathes in, trying to pay attention to all the scents on the air:: I have not tried.
T!Ed: *jumps a bit when Ren moves closer before sighing softly*
C!Envy: *nods once* It helps. I relied a lot more on scent in the beginning. *shrugs, glancing warily at Ed*
?????: ::nods:: I will try that, then. ::watches Ed somewhat curiously once again::
C!Envy: I think you will do fine. Shall we leave you to your own devices, then?
?????: I would prefer to be alone, yes.
C!Envy: *nods once* Alright. *reaches for Ed's hand to lead him across the hall*
