why? Because I was very unmpressed with the Con. There didn't seem to be a lot of things going on besides the usual things -most of which I don't care about. I'm sure that it doesn't help that I have very little interest in anything in the dealer's room, or of any of the anime playing. I did have a pretty good time hanging out with people though,

Hey, I understand, I think that's part of the big reason I don't think I'd really enjoy going to Sakura Con (or any anime con) if I wasn't staff *shrugs* Though I have to admit, Camino was friggin' awesome. But that has more to do w/ my enjoyment of rock music than anything else. If they played a non-con venue, I would have enjoyed it just the same. But, luckily I was assigned to them as a Guest Liason, so... ^_^

But might you not mean you were unimpressed by the con because you're not a fanboy? XD (That's at least the way *I* feel... I've been past the raving fan boy stage of my anime fandom for a long time, I think... really, my enjoyment of anime is just part of my overall love for cinema)
