i got to the end and was awfully disappointed because there was no more! your writing and the way you handle details (effortlessly it seems) carried me back in time and i felt like i got a little insight to the matches themselves.

more please. when you're not busy that is.

Apologies for the extremely late reply! *bows head* But thank you so much for your lovely words! I was worried at first when I saw "disappointed" but then you soothed my fears with your next words. hehe.

Thanks so much!

(In regards to carrying you back in time, I am so behind in post-match fics, hopefully I can do that with my next few fics, when I finish them, that is!)

Thanks for your feedback! I am very very sorry for replying so late. =(

The other match, hmmm. *racks brain for a memory of that match*... I didn't get to see that one so I'll have to see. Maybe I can pull up some match reports. =D

Thanks again for your comment!

I always love the way you include match-related details in fics and have it mean something in a bigger context, like the rivalry between Sergio and Fernando, the way Stevie and Xabi worry about each other, and the clash for a spot in the defense between Daniel and Martin. It's as detailed as a match report but a lot more than that, because there's also an emotional element and a description of the players' post-match thoughts, which (as it so often is) don't really focus on the match itself but on other things somehow related to it. I found that very interesting. :)

Thanks for writing this!

Thank you for your comment and please accept my apologies for the ridiculously late reply.

I do enjoy writing match related fics (only because I'm not creative enough to invent a completely separate plot and a match-fic allows me to extrapolate from something). I can't claim to be as detailed as a match report! I am very biased in what sections I pick out to discuss =P. And emotions, well. I can't get away from those even if I tried to, haha. It's probably not that great a thing to be, but if you like it, then yay! =D
