I'm glad that you liked them because I was actually quite scared that people wouldn't like this characterisation. =) So doubly thank you =D =D

I take it you're more a Dan/Nando fan than a Sernando one? XD
Thanks for reading and commenting =)
(but yes, Poor Danny - I hope with the Rick Parry is leaving stuff, his contract issues will be fixed asap.)

Are you implying something about Sergio? XD.
I like Sernando, they are so close it's lovely. But I dont have a good grasp on Ramos yet, and I do love Danny =P.

but i will second guess sergio's (because ah luv him and the music only he can hear) and say that maybe he was motivated by not only jealous, but the image of a sweatsoaked night in liverpool between the three of him.

p.s. What's a 'woobie'?
And Sergio, well. hahaha. Perhaps you're right. XD. That has crossed my mind for the potential fic for the 2nd leg but we'll see. XD.

in my memories "woobie" is the name of barbara gorden (batgirl)'s teddy bear in batman: the animated series (cartoon from the early to mid 1990s). it was given to her and i believed named by her father.
*blush!!!*
so nando is teddy bear.
That has crossed my mind for the potential fic for the 2nd leg but we'll see
*is so totally hopeful!!*

That's not geeky! Don't worry. I have my fair share of geekery XD. I wasn't much of a cartoon/comics fan but back in my childhood, I was an anime fan! XD. Well, I still do like anime but just don't have the energy to keep up with the "new" stuff. So I know like, the 80s and 90s anime XD. hehehe. [they were good, too!]

I know it's been written before, but I find the whole Sernando vs. Dando thing quite fascinating. I think it's fair enough that Fernando would fool around after leaving Sergio behind. After all, these slashy footballers don't bind themselves to each other! And so I like that you've tackled that in this fic, and shown the difference between fooling around and actually feeling some sort of romantic connection to another footballer. In particular, I really like the reference Fernando made to Sergio's 'girls' and his own Olalla. They're all cheaters anyway.
I love this:
swaying slightly to a tune that only he could hearI'm imagining a toned-down, more Spanish version of Jack Sparrow ( ... )

But thanks for reading this! And for your giant comment =)
Yeah, I agree! I think it's very interesting when football couples have to confront each other. I mean, with so many different pairings that people like, sometimes it's nice to tackle issues like that.
They're all cheaters anyway. I actually really hate the idea of cheating, but I guess just being part of 'slash' is already cheating since most footballers have partners already. *sigh ( ... )
