Today I took part in the artist movement. We drew on walls in Central House of Artists to protest against demolition of it and building huge center called Orange on its place. if one of the biggest art galleries in the city would be replaced with another stinking mall, that would be

Man, I'd really like to go to Moscow once on a holiday! Much better than all the boring people who go to Costa del Sol and stuff. Plane tickets are like 300 euro, that's quite affordable. *plots*

I think there isn't much official information about it, but there are concerned, and big money is involved (land in the center of the city costs a LOT), so it can happen. :( If you want to find more info, you can google Norman Foster, he is the author of the project. Maan, it's ugly and I can't imagine that thing in the center of the city.

Wow, that'd be cool! We could meet and I'd show you museums and stuff. I guess you'd like to see our zoo, though it's not much to be seen. :/ It's in the center of the city too, and a lot of people ask to move it out of city boundaries, so animals can get more space and clean air, but authorities say "nooo, it's the symbol of the city". So every time I go there to draw animals, I feel guilty. :(

Если это хоть чуть-чуть поможет, было бы просто здорово. Там многие музейные руководители и культурные деятели подписали обращение против сноса, но там же большие бабки крутятся...:(
Кстати, вчера все зрители, которые проходили мимо, тоже говорили, что нельзя сносить. Это ж просто очевидно!
А я вспоминала, как мы там зимой ходили. :)
