Aaaaaugh, Caprica, oh, my heart! ♥ This is beautiful. I feel like you've caught the essence of her so exquisitely just ... in the shapes of your sentences, in the way you put the words together. "She can almost feel the effervescence tickling the edges of her mind" kinda made my brain go ping! in this specific Caprica way, and then it just kept happening and happening and happening because this is so geniusly her. And THIS--

and Gaius looks from the fish to her with such an endearing face of confusion before bursting into laughter that it's all she can do to join him and not cry. Love, she has learned, can be close to sadness.

--Oh, that made my heart hurt a little. So beautiful and simple. I love the newness of love to her, and what it's like to discover it.

And Gaius falling asleep on her! Gah, that is such an adorable detail, and so poignant when one is witnessing it from inside her mind.

She will rise before Gaius to go through his briefcase and files, which is not a betrayal because he is her enemy, even as she threads her ( ... )

How did you even see it that fast? Wow.

I'm so happy you liked it! Caprica truly owns a bit of my heart with her heartbreaking newness and desire to love and be loved and the epic sadness that is her life- she is so seriously the Nadia of this show where love is concerned- and I adore her. I'm glad the characterization rang true for you!

Caprica just tears my soul to ribbons with the ferocity of her love. Poor lamb.

This is wonderful -- you've perfectly captured Caprica's conflicted nature. I especially like the detail about the fish! Great job.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you think I did a good job with Caprica- I feel like she was harder than any characters I've ever written.

This is perfect. And very visually evocative of Caprica to me, I can almost see the shape of her in the words.

Oh and the fish! Gah, I loved that too.

Ooh, Caprica/Gaius. Always such a good little spell.

Great job. You really captured the complicated obsessed twisty hurtedness of Six's feelings toward him, and his sort of awe and total enamourment of her.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you thought I captured their relationship- this was my first attempt, and I was worried, because they're so complicated and messed up and awesome. Oh Gaius and Caprica!
