One thing I'm pretty sure I'm not going to miss... the anorexic twins. Only now it turns out they're on the Tolkien track's tentative schedule for this year's Dcon... oh well...

I did email Gary, Iaksed about the possibility of just doing smaller cons like ELF and keep moving them around the county is great, and Chicago would have been wondeful. This is what he told me...

Maybe. But the irony of it is that the smaller the con, the more they'd have to charge. Larger cons can afford to charge less, because they've got tens of thousands as opposed to a few hundred people attending.
