In addition to MySpace, I have a Facebook. I used to hate stuff like that, but I'm finding I'm liking Facebook more and more. Very strange. LiveJournal, of course, still tops my list.

Yup. I normally go for "colours" like black, white, grays, blues. But I feel like pumping up the energy. Maybe it's just the season or something. Although April showers...

Yep...I see what you mean. I also thought of it this way: animals have to kill each other to survive and eat. I guess it's just the circle of life.
The reason I brought this up in the first place is because throughout my life, I always knew about the animals/meat thing, but it didn't really affect me, not matter how much I knew. What changed was I read this book in English and it freaked me out. I never has something like that before - a book or movie changing my thinking to that extent. I mean, books and tv can change our thinking, but honestly, sometimes when I'm eating beef, all I can think of is a cow's face. It's funny, and at the same time, sad.

Under the Skin by Michel Faber. It starts off normal, and then goes really strange. On a level, it's about hitchhiking. On another, about about human behaviour.
