so I submitted 2 poems today to a local writing contest open to San Diego residents. i don't think I'll win, there is a lot of amazing writers out there. I've heard some awesome things in my writing class this summer. But at least i tried and I know I tried, and that makes me feel good

if you have a netflix account you should watch "The Injustice System". It's available "instantly".
It's about the much larger representation of minorities in jail. But, it discusses how our spending on Education has been cut in California and spending on jails has increased and now California sucks and everyone is in jail.
