I can't think of a fun question, so I'll ask this: can you explain the way you track your "currently reading" list? You've been in the middle of Peter Pan or something for months, but finished other books in the meantime. If it takes me more than two months to read a book and I've picked up others in the meantime, I tend to think that I've given up on the first one. So my brain works differently than yours on this score. Explain?
It's a way to not lose track of books I've started and DO plan to finish. Peter Pan I started reading out loud to jade_coil, but we've not been doing that for a while. We'll wrap it up one of these days.
Also, I've read it dozens of times, so I can just pick it up anywhere and know what's going on.
Both. The former, some six or seven years ago, when the relationship was dying and I just scared of ending it. I've never done it since; it felt awful.
The latter nearly broke me. I'm still picking up the smaller pieces and trying to glue them back in place.
